The two-day conference will feature ADR scholars from around the country who will present their current works-in-progress. This will range from research ideas for a future articles to full drafts of their current research papers. Conference attendees will share their insights about the presentation topic and provide presenters with constructive feedback.

“We are honored that the AALS ADR Section selected Southwestern to host the Eighth Annual ADR Section Works-in-Progress Conference,”  Professor Ron Aronovsky, the coordinator of the conference, said. “The conference provides junior scholars with a forum to refine their voice, test ideas for possible future articles, get feedback on draft papers, and establish mentoring or collaborative relationship s with scholars from other schools.  For more established scholars, the conference is a place to reconnect with colleagues and support the next generation of ADR scholars as well as receive constructive input on current research projects.  Above all, the conference showcases the richness, vitality and sophistication of current ADR scholarship and the deep sense of community among ADR academics.”
