Job Fairs

Job Fairs are a great way for students to meet and interact with employers. There are a variety of on-campus and off-campus Career Days and Job Fairs throughout the year.

Career Days

The CSO coordinates and co-sponsors several career days with other local law schools. These include:

  • Public Interest and Government Career Day (held at UCLA Law School) - February
  • Entertainment Law Career Day (held at Southwestern) - February

  • Public Interest Week Employer Fair (held at Southwestern) - October
  • Intellectual Property Associate Search Fair (held at Whittier Law School) - 2L, 3L and Graduates are invited

National Law Student Associations Job Fairs

Additionally, the National LGBT Bar Association holds a Job Fair, typically in September, in conjunction with its Lavender Law Conference.  While APALSA and LLSA tend to hold national Job Fairs, the BLSA Job Fair is regional, and almost every year, Southwestern students receive job offers from the Southern California BLSA Job Fair.  For more information, students should check with their local chapter of their student group or with the Career Services Office.
